Part of getting Younger Next Year involves finding ways to exercise that are actually fun. I decided that bicycling would be fun on relatively flat, wide, roads . . . in good weather . . . with no traffic . . . especially at sunset . . . and with my dog. I ordered a basket for the dog, but it hasn't arrived yet. So she ran alongside--she'll definitely be younger next year! Of course, I had to stop and use the little blue baggies. Gave me a chance to shoot a photo.
Once I see if I'm really going to ride my bike, I thought, I'll decide whether to get a new bike. Or maybe it should be the other way around. Then I'd be committed to using it a lot! I got the mountain bike shown here the year I could first strap my baby on the back, 1985. Think it's time for a new hybrid or road bike? Any tips for riding safely with dogs?
